UTANG AKWA IBOM REACHES OUT TO THE GRASSROOT

Special Assistant to the Governor on Entertainment Industry, Mr. David Sergeant (Utang Akwa Ibom) today reached out to the grassroot people of Afaha Offot village, Ward 6 in Uyo LGA. The event he stated was to thank the Offot people for their unflinching loyalty and continuous support to his Principal, Governor Udom Emmanuel and the PDP, drum support for his second term bid and also extend his goodwill and magnanimity to them. He expressed his deep seated appreciation to the ward whom he referred to as his root for their cooperation and promised to always repay the confidence vested on him.

Utang Akwa Ibom as he is fondly called, a greatly loved son of the soil came with his quivers full to fete his people. Gift items he dolled out to his constituents included wrappers, sewing Machines, Generating sets, bags of rice, market money to 20 women and cash to youth groups and Elders.

In attendance at the event included Prince Enobong Uwah, Chairman UCCDA, Member representing Uyo in the AKHA, Hon. Monday Eyo, Vice Chairman of Uyo LGA, Amb. Ukai Udeme Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Charles Udoh, SA to the Governor on Project  Monitoring, Hon. Anietie Eka.
