Akwa Ibom state chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Dr Ndueso Ekwere, has lamented that despite the N200 million donated to the association, his executive inherited an empty treasury from the former leadership of the association. He said that the leadership headed by Archbishop Cletus Bassey left nothing behind for the present executive to work with, Independent reports.
He said: “We are yet to see the N100 million donated to us by former Governor Godswill Akpabio since we came into power.
