Mavin Records owner, Don Jazzy has taken to social media to share some advice with some Nigerian artistes.

Don Jazzy says, that artistes need to know that times and seasons have changed and they need to start engaging with their fans more often than usual.

Taking to his social media, Don Jazzy wrote;

‘Dear artists. Times have changed o. This Chris Brown’s post is enough to let you know that water don pass garri. Engage with your fans. This is not the time to form Jugunu for algorithm ooo. Twitter and Instagram Algo no send person’.

This is coming after the record label boss shared N100,000 to some of his fans a few days ago on Twitter.

Madonna: Harvey Weinstein 'crossed lines and boundaries' when we worked together

"I was aware that he did the same with a lot of other women that I knew in the business," Madonna has said of Harvey Weinstein.

Madonna has become the latest star to speak out about Harvey Weinstein, saying the now disgraced film mogul "crossed lines and boundaries" when they worked together.

In a new interview with the New York Times Magazine, celebrating Madonna at Sixty, the star was asked for her thoughts on the Time's Up movement, which was founded in Hollywood after the first allegations were made against Weinstein in 2017.

Miramax, the company Weinstein owned with his brother, distributed the documentary film Truth Or Dare, also known as In Bed With Madonna, in 1991.

"Harvey crossed lines and boundaries and was incredibly sexually flirtatious and forward with me when we were working together; he was married at the time, and I certainly wasn't interested," Madonna said in the interview.

"I was aware that he did the same with a lot of other women that I knew in the business. And we were all, 'Harvey gets to do that because he's got so much power and he's so successful and his movies do so well and everybody wants to work with him, so you have to put up with it'."

Madonna, who performed at Eurovision last month, spoke about her feelings when the allegations against Weinstein were made public.

Anthony Joshua enjoys night out in New York as he makes his first public appearance after Andy Ruiz Jnr defeat

British-Nigerian boxer, Anthony Joshua has been pictured for the first in public since his shocking defeat by Andy Ruiz Jnr on Saturday night.

The 29-year-old who was dropped four times before the referee stepped in in the seventh round at Madison Square Garden was spotted enjoying a night-time stroll as he exited Golden Swan Garden, a small park in West Village in New York on Wednesday. 

Joshua spoke out about his defeat on Wednesday, addressing his fans via  YouTube.

'I took my first (professional) loss,' he said. 'How to explain that feeling? It has happened to me before but I feel like those times I lost years back have made me a stronger person,' 

'It hasn't really changed me, my work ethic, my mindset, what I stand for, the people I'm still loyal to — my trainer Rob McCracken, my amateur coach at Finchley ABC. I'm still going to work with these guys, they'll teach me everything I need to know.

'They've done a great job for me not only inside the boxing ring but mainly as a human. They've really developed me as a person which is really important. These guys have been with me for years.'

The boxer who has vowed to win back IBO, IBF, WBO, and WBA also refused to make any excuses for his defeat to the Mexican.

'There was no contaminated food. I know there's a lot of accusations or worries about what was wrong with me,' Joshua added.

'But I want to tell you this — I'm a soldier and I have to take my ups and my downs. And on Saturday I took a loss and I have to take it like a man. I have to take my loss like a man, no blaming anyone or anything.

'I'm the one who went in there to perform and my performance didn't go to plan. I'm the one who has to adjust, analyse and do my best to correct it and get the job done in the rematch.

'Boxing is a part of my life and I'm a champion at heart. Congratulations to Andy Ruiz, he has six months or so to be champion because the belts go in the air and he has to defend them against myself.

SAG Awards 2019 Winners: The Complete List

Unlike the award shows that have come before them, and the ones that will happen next, the Screen Actors Guild Awards is all about the actors.

We know that all awards shows are about the celebrities or the talent, but the SAG Awards are awarded by the actors themselves to their peers, so there's a whole different level of prestige when winning one of these trophies.

Tonight actors from both film and television arrived at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles to celebrate one another at the 2019 SAG Awards and it was a big show.

This year marked the second year that the show had a host with Megan Mullally taking over hosting duties from 2018's leader Kristen Bell. 

The Will & Grace star took the stage to run the show, but she wasn't the only one who had a good time.

Nominees like Bradley Cooper for A Star Is Born, Christian Bale for Vice and Golden Globes and Critics' Choice Awards winner Glenn Close for The Wife were all in attendance, which meant the night was full of star reunions and run-ins.

This year the award show also celebrated 25 years and even though it's one of the younger award shows, the SAG Awards draws a lot of big names and it is a huge honor to win an award voted on by your peers.

Actors including, Sandra Oh, Antonio Banderas and Rachel Brosnahanall showed up to represent their shows and hope to take home The Actor trophies. 

Director Alan Alda has been named the 55th recipient of the SAG Life Achievement Award. Plus, Crazy Rich Asians star Harry Shum Jr. was dubbed the award show's ambassador.

Actress Kate Henshaw Joins International Stars As Judge For CBS Global Talent Show

CBS has selected veteran Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw as one of the international judges on its new reality show, ‘The World’s Best’, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports.

‘The World’s Best’ is a high profile upcoming global talent competition series.

It will feature performers being evaluated by judges and the “Wall of the World”, international panel of 50 of the world’s most accomplished experts in various fields of entertainment.

The experts also include Nigerian-born Czech-based choreographer, Yemi A.D.

The global talent competition is scheduled to premiere immediately after Super Bowl LIII in the U.S. on Feb. 3.

'How I escaped my abusive relationship with R Kelly'

For two years, Asante McGee was a girlfriend of the now-disgraced R&B superstar, R Kelly, but in the summer of 2016 she went to live in his house in Georgia. There were other women there, she discovered - and very strict rules.

Whenever I was in my room alone, that was when I would call home to speak to my children, as when I was with Robert, he didn't want us to have our phones and have contact with the outside world.

When I met Robert, or rather R Kelly, it wasn't like meeting Prince Charming who swept me off my feet. He didn't wine and dine me, he was just a warm and funny guy. We did normal stuff; he took me shopping and we enjoyed having dinners together.

But there was a moment during a text exchange in 2014 when I think I should have known things weren't what they seemed. It was really early on in our relationship and I texted him, addressing him as Rob and he said: "No, can you just call me Daddy." There was no discussion - he just told me his demand. When I look back at that moment, reading the text message in my car, I should have questioned it. I should have seen his behaviour in that moment as a red flag.

I was first introduced to R Kelly in September 2013 by a member of his entourage, when he was performing in a club in Atlanta to promote his next tour. However, we had a proper introduction in January 2014.

A member of his entourage invited me to hang out with R Kelly and some of his friends. We went to the mall and we laughed and talked. We just hung out like two old friends. Before I left, he gave me his number and we immediately started texting each other.

We texted for weeks and one day he invited me to his concert in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, which was being held on February 13. After watching him perform on stage, he invited me back to his hotel room and we had our first sexual encounter.
