Cristiano Ronaldo shows off his muscles ahead of Bilbao La Liga clash

Real Madrid welcome Athletic Bilbao to the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday, April 18, for their Spanish League fixture. 

Having secured maximum points at Malaga over the weekend, Los Blancos trained for their midweek encounter on Monday, and their star striker, Cristiano Ronaldo, struck a pose with some of his teammates showing his outrageous leg muscles. 

Zinedine Zidane's starman showed off his shredded physique as he pulled a bizarre stern face with team-mates happy to joke around following the conclusion of Monday's session. 

The match will help the Galacticos prepare for their UEFA Champions League semi final first leg encounter next Wednesday. 

Meanwhile, the Portuguese international, who got his season to a slow start will be starring in these games in a bid to boost his chances of helping his side to their third straight UCL title. 

While they try to finish strong on the La Liga table despite trailing their arch rival, Barcelona on the log with 15 points after 32 round of games. 

Kiko Castilla, Toni Kroos, Borja Mayoral and Raphael Varane were among the team-mates happy to join Ronaldo and his muscles in the snap, captioned simply by Varane as '#HalaMadrid'. 

Ronaldo has scored 42 goals from 42 appearances - 15 of those came from Champions League already , and he is already getting in the mood for the battle for this year’s UCL final.
