Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state disclosed that the ruling party was only trying to put certain things in place before fixing a date for its convention.
Okorocha stated that the fact that the convention had not yet been held, had absolutely nothing to do with either Buhari or Osinbajo.
The chairman of the APC Governors Forum had led his colleagues to the Presidential Villa to see Acting President Yemi Osinbajo Rochas Okorocha, the governor of Imo state, has insisted that the All Progressives Congress (APC) convention cannot be stopped due to the absence of President Muhammadu Buhari or Acting President Yemi Osinbajo.
According to reports, Okorocha made his comments after leading his fellow APC governors to the Presidential Villa to see the acting president on Thursday, July 20.
He stated: “We came to discuss issues relating to our party and our government and how to move our party forward. “We discussed a lot of issues on how to move the party forward, how to strengthen the party and how to make sure our party remains victorious in all elections.
