In Agbado area of Ogun state, a 40-year-old man was reported to have allegedly beaten his 37-year-old wife to death after accusing her of having an affair with their neighbour.
The man who was identified as Femi Adebowale has been arrested by the Ogun state police command for killing his wife, Kuburat on Monday, July 17.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the state, Abimbola Oyeyemi disclosed that on the day of the unfortunate incident the deceased asked her husband for the money she intends to use for her younger brother’s naming ceremony and he gave her N10,000.
