Boko Haram still controls some villages in Borno

Indigenes of Gwoza insist Boko Haram terrorists still control some villages.

This is contrary to the claim of the army that they have been wiped out.

They said the terrorists now give judgments and settle dispute for the villagers Gwoza local government area of Borno state have revealed that Boko Haram terrorists still control some parts of the villages saying the claim by the military was wrong.

The army has insisted that it has taken control of villages that were once under the control of the terrorists but Gwoza indigenes said this was false. 

According to report, they claimed except the local government headquarters and Pulka, where the returning refugees from Cameroon and displaced persons brought back from Maiduguri and other areas are kept and protected by the military, other places were under the control of the terrorists. 

According to Musa Mohammed, he and his kinsmen have vowed not to return to Gwoza until it is fully liberated from the terrorists who are currently gathered behind the Mandara Mountains
