The recent increase in Boko Haram activities around the north-eastern part of Nigeria is becoming a cause for concern.
Mohammed Sahnun Idris, the president of the Non-Violent Peace Initiative, linked this increase to politicians.
The recent increase in attacks carried out by Boko Haram against security agents and citizens have a link with the coming 2019 presidential election, a civil society group, Non-Violent Peace Initiative (NPI), has revealed.
NPI alleged that some politicians were behind the new rise in the attacks by the terrorist group.
