The suit is biodegradable and made of mushrooms chosen for their ability to digest dead human tissue, its creator says.
Former Beverly Hills 90210 star Luke Perry was buried in an eco-friendly suit made from mushrooms, his daughter has revealed.
Perry, who also acted in the Riverdale series, was 52 when he died in March five days after suffering a stroke.
His daughter Sophie, 18, said one of his wishes was to be buried in the suit, writing on Instagram that he was "more excited by this than I have ever seen him".
She wrote: "Any explanation I give will not do justice to the genius that is the mushroom burial suit, but it is essentially an eco-friendly burial option via mushrooms.
"My dad discovered it, and was more excited by this than I have ever seen him.
