Game of Thrones: How Will this End?

If there was any doubt before, there is no longer. The world of Westeros knows exactly which way the coin landed for Daenerys Targaryen.

Cersei Lannister is dead; thousands of innocent people too. King's Landing lies in ashes, and the woman built up as a hero by many fans right from the start has turned out to be anything but.

After the human fireball that was The Bells, the penultimate episode of the final season of Game Of Thrones, there are so many loose ends to tie up and just shy of 90 minutes left to do so.

This series more than any other has divided fans, with many arguing that with just six episodes, the story has felt rushed.

Is that criticism fair? Perhaps. But the series has also provided some of the show's most jaw-dropping, edge-of-your-seat moments as well as poignant and emotional scenes.

Thousands of fans across the UK will no doubt be waking up early (or staying up late) to catch the 2am showing of the last ever episode on Monday, to coincide with the time of screening in the US.

Those who aren't quite so hardcore will be watching later in the day. But by 10.30pm on Monday, after eight years, 73 episodes, thousands of gory deaths and no doubt one final fight for the Seven Kingdoms, most will know the outcome of the Game Of Thrones.
