The 42-year-old Australian musician was involved in a fatal accident while trying to help a friend, his management team say.
DJ Adam Sky, known as one of Asia's top DJs, has died while on holiday in a villa on the Indonesian island of Bali.
The 42-year-old Australian, whose real name is Adam Neat, was fatally injured while attempting to help a friend who had reportedly fallen from a private terrace.
According to reports, police believe the DJ rushed to try to help his friend, but ran into one of the villa's glass doors in the process, cutting himself badly, which resulted in a fatal loss of blood.
In a statement on the DJ's page on Facebook, his management team wrote:
"It is with great regret that we can confirm Adam Neat was involved in a fatal accident while trying to help a friend who had suffered multiple fractures in Bali on Saturday 4th May 2019.
"Relatives and friends of Adam are travelling to Bali today and handling all arrangements.
"We ask you to respect the families privacy at this moment while we all come to terms with our tragic loss."
