HON (LADY) EMEM IBANGA, CHAIRMAN NSIT ATAI L.G.A ON THE PATH HISTORY....

African's mostly, have been made to believe that Effective Leadership, Good Administrative Skills and intrinsic sense of development are only configured and deposited in a particular set of persons, mostly the Men.

     With this lame approach to effective leadership, some tends to adore men with good leadership charisma while discouraging the female counterpart.

According to Strategic Objective G.1, presented at the 1995 United Nations Fourth world Conference on women. UN resolved to ensure women's equal access to and full participation in power structures and decision-making.

To Further relates the position of women in our societies, States and Nation. During the Aba women riot of 1929, the power of women were again tested when a massive revolt was staged against the colonial administrators due to infliction of pains on their men through over taxation. It is on record that it was here women found their way to the top, after successfully shielded themselves and their men from  Colonial Administrators maltreatment .
With these and many more, the significant of Women's Leadership role can not be over emphasized.

In Nsit Atai L.G.A, there have been an historical similarity with the emergence of the first Female council Chairman, Hon(Lady)Emem Ibanga, like the first Female Prime Minister of Great Britain, Margaret Thatcher whose pedigrees are indelible.

Hon(Lady) Emem Ibanga's policies just like Thatcher's policies during her reigns in Great Britain, Continued to help the economy improve. Her policies are majorly on Health, Education, Sports and Empowerment, etc.

Hon(Lady) Emem Ibanga's penchant to transform and take a lead in the development of the Area Stands Her out amongst Her contemporaries. Her zeal has let many conformed to a commonly used epigram "what a man can do, a woman can do even more better".

As a Political Scientist, Hon(Lady) Emem Ibanga has fulfilled the tenets of Her discipline through Her display of good Leadership ethics while Executing the functions expected of Her as Executive Chairman of Nsit Atai L.G.A within Her (6) months in Office.

This refined sage has not gone contrary to Aristotle views on the connection between the wellbeing of the political community and the citizens, this means that she has revived the political consciousness of Nsit Atai People. For instance, it would be recalled that many 'Political Compulsory Retirees' in Nsit Atai LGA have found their way back to active politicking.

Hon(Lady) Emem Ibanga is on the path of history. Being the first Female Council Chairman in Nsit Atai in six (6) months, She has won many awards and Trophies both at the Local Government and State levels, Revived  Health care services, Improved Educational system, Road grading, Empowerment and most importantly good working synergy between the  Executive and Legislature. e.t.c
