..............All is not going well with the peoples of Afaha Offiong and Ikot Obio Etan in Mbiaso Ward 1 making the seat of Government of Nsit Ibom Local Government Area as they threaten a war looms and set to embark on a protest tomorrow in the council premises towards the out come of the purported Supervisor/special adviser list of Nsit Ibom been hijacked and appointed by the chairman best on his personal political interest tagated at devalued and neglecting the ward that gave Gov. Udom Emmanuel the highest vote during the 2019 governorship elections in the areas.
The peoples regretted why the chairman which the voted and supported to emerged as elected chairman can not see anything good from Mbiaso ward 1 when it comes to sharing of political positions under his watched as chairman of Nsit Ibom.
Speaking with newsmen, Hon. Akan Ofong, Councillor Representing Mbiaso Ward 1, express shocked on the outcome of the list and disappointment why the ward which happened to be the strong hold of PDP with the highest vote this present administration of Gov. Udom Emmanuel is enjoying can not be given the rightful slot in the sharing of the Supervisor and special adviser in Nsit Ibom. While Calling for peace and calmness in the ward irrespective of any political imbalance in the purported list, the Councilor said the appropriate authority in government of the State still have a role to play by giving Mbiaso ward One a slot in the local government executive council in Nsit Ibom.
