Residents of Nsit Ibom and Ibesikpo Asutan local government areas of Akwa Ibom state have lauded the free medical mission of ImaBridge Africa - a faith-based charity that provides financial and human resources for projects that empower the poor to eradicate extreme poverty, promotes gender equality, reduces child and maternal mortality and ensures environmental sustainability, by undertaking projects in the areas of Education, Health, Micro Finance and Water.
The organization is currently embarking on a FREE medical mission in communities across the state.
On Wednesday, the team was at Health Center, Mbiokporo, Nsit Ibom, where their medical team treated over 500 patients with different minor and major ailments.
Today, the team is here at ImaBridge Medical Center, Owo Uta, Ibesikpo, carrying out FREE consultations, treating different ailments and referring major cases to specialists and giving out wheelchairs to those in need.
The team is also providing free meals for everyone attending this programme today.
ImaBridge Africa is committed to building transformational relationships between people from dissimilar communities, the privileged and the underprivileged.
