Nigeria to experience floods, thunderstorms on Wednesday, August 30
NiMet’s Weather Outlook predicted cloudy conditions over some parts of the region in the morning.
Central states would experience isolated thunderstorms later in the day with day and Night temperatures in the range of 24 to 31 and 11 to 24 degrees celsius.
It also predicted that southern states would experience cloudy with chances of isolated rains over Obudu, Ogoja, Ikom, Abakaliki, Enugu, Eket, Calabar and port Harcourt.
The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet), has predicted localised thunderstorms over the Central states of Kwara, Niger, Abuja, Nassarawa, Jos and Kaduna on Wednesday morning.
NiMet’s Weather Outlook by its Central Forecast Office (CFO), on Tuesday in Abuja also predicted cloudy conditions over some parts of the region in the morning.
It added that the central states would experience isolated thunderstorms later in the day with day and Night temperatures in the range of 24 to 31 and 11 to 24 degrees celsius respectively.
