It appears Funke Akindele’s friends have begun to fight for the role of godmother.
Mercy Johnson recently made a claim for the position on Instagram.
She made her plans known while congratulating Funke on her pregnancy.
Humb's blog had earlier reported that popular actress Funke Akindele is expecting her first child with her husband producer/director JJC SKillz.
Since the announcement, many of her celebrity friends have been celebrating the good news with her.
Most recently, Mercy Johnson while responding to a birthday message Funke wrote for her shared her goodwill.
She wrote that Funke was a nice person who always wishes others well this is why she is being celebrated today. She also spoke about Funke’s husband.
