Security agents disrupt Shiites protest in Abuja
Members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) popularly known as Shiites have not given up in their fight to secure the release of their leader.
Shiites leader, Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky has been in the custody of the federal government for months.
His followers have again be denied the right to protest by security agencies in Abuja.
Members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) popularly known as Shiites staged another peaceful protest in the Wuse area of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja on Wednesday, August 30.
The peaceful protest was however disrupted by security agents ranging from the Nigerian Police, Nigerian Army, Air Force and the Civil Defence.
The protest was brought to an abrupt end, even as the conveners had grant interviews to journalists in hiding.
