Chidoka while receiving the flag vowed to pursue UPP's self-determination ideology and restore the voice of the Igbo people.
The former minister of aviation Osita Chidoka on Wednesday, August 30, received the flag of the United Progressive Party (UPP) ahead of the November 18 Anambra election.
The flag was presented to Chidoka by the national chairman of UPP, Chkewas Okorie, at the party's secretariat in Abuja.
Receiving the flag, Chidoka said his emergence as the party's candidate for the Anambra election signals a new beginning for the people.
He also said it marks the end of an irresponsible government for the people of Anambra.
