Lauretta Onochie said one of the protesters had no money to return home and was assisted with £5
The presidency said only four protesters turned up at the Abuja House in London without a police permit.
Lauretta Onochie said one of the protesters had no money to return home and was assisted with £5. Garba Shehu, a spokesperson for Muhammadu Buhari, argued that the president had not committed any offence against the constitution.
The Nigerian presidency has said the planned protest against Muhammadu Buhari’s stay outside the country flopped on Monday, August 7, 2017 in London.
With photographs to confirm that the planned version of the protest in London failed, Lauretta Onochie, an aide to President Buhari said only four people turned up.
Onochie alleged that the protest may have been planned by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) since it has the participation of Deji Adeyanju.
