A student has made Funke Akindele’s character in the popular TV series Jenifa’s Diary go back to school

She used Jenifa’s bad English as her research project - The student is from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile Ife, Osun state.

For her final year project, Olosunde Aderonke Oyindamola focused her research on Funke Akindele’s English in the popular TV series Jenifa’s Diary. 

Seeing that Oyinda is a student in the department of linguistics, one understands why she made her unusual choice.
