The event which was in celebration of Nigeria's 57th Independence anniversary, was tagged Ride For One Nigeria.
Addressing journalists at the event, leader of the group, Abubakar Abdullahi, stated that the event was organised to make a statement in the FCT, for the unity of Nigeria in solidarity with the millions of Nigerians who hope to see a better Nigeria.
His words: “We ride today with the conviction that despite our seeming differences and problems, we are better as a united and not divide nation.
“We ride against hate, against injustice, against tyranny, against corruption and we ride for peace, for justice, for development and for the unity of Nigeria.”
Meanwhile, young American-based Nigerian, who declared his interest to contest for 2019 presidential election three months ago, Chris Emejuru, has stated that restructuring Nigeria is the best way to address the country's problems.
Emejuru made the call in a statement he personally signed and sent to NAIJ.com on the 57th anniversary of Nigeria. He also dismissed calls for secession from some quarters, stressing that they are not realistic.
