The university officials have announced that only 11,000 candidates will be admitted On Monday, September 11, the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) commenced the University Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) screening for 64,000 candidates seeking admissions there for the 2017/2018 academic session.
The deputy director, corporate affairs department of the university, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Ilorin that 104,000 candidates applied for the screening.
However, because of the capacity of the institution only 11,000 successful candidates would be admitted into the various programmes.
