Taraba state boasted that his party, PDP, will win the 2019 presidential election

Taraba state governor, Darius Ishaku, said that his party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will defeat the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2019. Ishaku, who spoke at the PDP north east reconciliatory meeting held in Yola, Adamawa state, said that his party is ready for the presidential election in 2019, Daily Post reports.

Ishaku boasted that his party has qualities missing in the Buhari-led APC and will govern the country well. Ishaku said that PDP is set to throw APC out of office in all the six north eastern states as well.

He said: “PDP will win the 2019 elections in the north east and restore accountability, integrity and economic development in country, a quality lacking in the Buhari led APC government.”
