The South East Senate Caucus has issued a stern warning to the Federal Government as news of a military invasion of Nnamdi Kanu’s home in Umuahia, Abia state spread.
The warning was issued on Thursday, September 12, as the senators claimed that the military engaged in an invasion of the rights of Kanu and other supports of the Biafran agitation.
Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, the chairman of the caucus, condemned the action of the military in a statement on behalf of the group.
According to the statement, the action of the security operatives is deliberate abuse of the people’s fundamental rights.
