According to the report given by the RRS via their Facebook page, the pregnant woman who was in her thirties had gone into labour and had called for help upon sensing the baby’s out was out. She sought the assistance of the passengers in the Danfo bus she was in.
The continuous cry for help heard from that direction led the members of the unit by Ketu Alapere footbridge to the bus. Passengers were said to be crying for help all at the same time.
