Nigerian man plans to quit his church after his pastor announced the highest "tithers"

Even though the Bible encourages Christians to pay their tithes (10% of your income) and offerings in church, some people may have taken the act 'too far'. 

According to a Twitter user identified as @HydroStatiQ, he was left in shock when on attending Sunday service, an assistant pastor in his church called out the members who paid the highest tithes in the church in the last three months. 

According to him, the rest of the church were asked to applaud them.

The Twitter user however said he may consider leaving the church as he felt somehow about the situation.
