Donald Trump has been making a number of “bad decisions,” according to Miss America finalists.
The billionare President has been slammed on a number of topics including the United States’ withdrawing from the 2015 Paris climate agreement, his baffling stance on white supremacist rallies in Charlottesville, and his alleged ties with Russia during his campaign for office.
Three out of the final five contestants representied states that voted in huge numbers for Trump in 2016, so it was surprising to hear their beauty queens stand against the leader live on television.
And each woman took it in turn to blast the celebrity politician – who is also the former owner of rival contest Miss Universe – and his recent behaviour in the public sphere.
When asked if the Trump campaign had colluded with Russia, Miss Missouri said: “The justice system should do their due diligence and they should be punished accordingly.”
