Fulani herdsmen beat colleague to death in Jigawa

The Jigawa state Police Command has confirmed the death of a herdsmen who was beaten severely by two of his colleagues allegedly because of a woman.

The suspects beat up the victim, Manu Isa, with sticks until he was down; and he succumbed to his injuries two days later.

The suspects have been arrested, and an investigation is ongoing to ascertain the genuine reasons for their action.

Two herdsmen have been arrested in Jigawa by the state Police Command, for beating their colleague to death in the Gagarawa Local Government Area of the state, Vanguard reports.

The development was confirmed by the Public Relations Officer of the Jigawa state Police Command, DSP Abdu Jinjiri.
