Wayne Rooney’s party girl, Laura Simpson, sparked controversy earlier this week when she appeared on This Morning to “set the record straight” after she was linked to the married footballer.
Laura told hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield that the incident had been “blown out of proportion”, however, Holly slammed the 29 year old for getting into the car with Wayne even though she knew he is married to pregnant Coleen.
Since Wayne was caught drink-driving in Laura’s car, with Laura telling the Daily Mail that she’d enjoyed a “kiss and a cuddle” with the father-of-three and probably would have slept with him had he not been arrested, Laura has been hounded by the paparazzi and even hired an agent.
Now Wayne’s “furious” wife, Coleen Rooney, has accused Laura of being “a fame-seeking sl*pper”, according to The Sun.
Speaking to the publication, a source said: “Coleen has been furious at Wayne.
“But the more she learns, the more sympathetic she is to Wayne’s version of events.
“She wasn’t impressed with Laura’s TV appearance.
“The girl’s story just keeps changing, while Wayne’s remains the same.”
In fact, The Sun report that Coleen believes Laura approached Wayne on a night out in a bid to launch a career in reality TV for herself.
The insider continued: “She labelled Laura a ‘fame-seeking sl*pper’.
“She still thinks Wayne was in the wrong — but for the first time it seems he has some light at the end of the tunnel.”
