Meet Nigerian man who roasts corn for a living (photos)

A Nigerian man identified as Basiru has become the talk of the town after people got to know what he does for a living and how he goes about roasting corn to make ends meet.

The young man’s inspirational story was published on Facebook by Humans of Abuja.

There, Basiru who hails from Kebbi state spoke about the things he does to make ends meet and survive against the odds.

As a farmer, he sells most of his farm produce to people around. When the time comes for corn to be harvested, he does the needful and goes as far as roasting some of it.
