Gustavo is close to Neymar and admits he hopes his friend stays in France. He said: "For Ligue 1, for France, for all of us, it is very important that Neymar stays here. "There are many possibilities for him to change clubs, but it would be good if he stays in France." Real Madrid have been linked with Neymar, with coach Zinedine Zidane admitting recently he could fit the Brazilian in the same team as Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Barcelona have also joined the race to sign their former player and Premier League club, Manchester United, are also keen to land the former Santos star.
However Paris Saint Germain have repeatedly stated that their star player is not for sale and he is going nowhere. Neymar is currently racing against time to recover for the Russia 2018 World Cup for Brazil in the summer.
