The governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello, on Monday, March 19, drove through bad roads and flooded areas to visit victims of suspected herdsmen attacks in the state.
The governor visited Ojuwo Ajoma - Igbi in Bassa LGA were suspected herdsmen reportedly killed some residents of the area.
Bello who visited alongside his entourage had to trek at some point when he got to a spot where the vehicle conveying them could not continue.
He also sympathised with the people of the area while promising to bring the culprits to book.
Kogi state governor, Yahaya Bello, had confirmed that 12 people were killed in a recent attack in the state .
Governor Bello assured the people of Kogi state that a judicial panel will be instituted to unravel what took place during a spot visit to Oganeinigu. He also commended the Nigerian Army and other security agencies whose efforts he said brought normalcy to the area.
