Cologne supporters tried to enter the stadium and sit in the section for home supporters wearing Arsenal jersey.
The Police was called in and they responded by locking down the sold-out 60,000-seater arena for over an hour before the match kicked off with riot police with dogs between the German fans and the pitch.
