Fans have been promised a huge shock in The Last Jedi and many believe it will be the moment when Rey abandons Luke and turns to the Dark Side. In a classic bait and switch manoeuver it will be mirrored by Kylo Ren deserting Snoke to begin his path back to the Light.
Earlier this week director Rian Johnson revealed the scene that will leave fans "unable to breathe."
The Star Wars trilogies have made no secret of how patterns constantly repeat themselves and new images from The Last Jedi set in Ahch-To may have already shown fans the scene where Rey's fall begins.
