The bladder stone was as large as an ostrich egg.
Bladder stones usually affect people older than 50.
They are often small enough to be passed in urine but on this occasion, doctors had to surgically remove it.
X-ray images also showed a much smaller stone in the unidentified man's left ureter, the tube that carries urine from the kidney to the bladder.
The patient also informed doctors that he was treated for bladder cancer about 10 years ago.
