Here are 5 things to expect from the elite football league this weekend
The return of Rooney and Lukaku to their former clubs:
1. Both Rooney and Lukaku will face their former clubs when Manchester United will host Everton on Sunday, September 15. While we expect a stiff performance from both strikers, we will not be surprised if they both do not celebrate when they get on the scoresheet for their respective clubs.
2. Conte's Chelsea seeking revenge against Arsenal after back-to-back trophy defeats:
Chelsea will be out for possible revenge against Wenger boys as the gunners have denied the Blues two trophies in the last two meetings, the FA Cup and the Community Shield.
3. Tottenham to end the Wembley hoodoo when they welcome Swansea: Tottenham has ended the Wembly hoodoo halfway by defeating Dortmund at Wembley in their Champions League tie, we expect them to complete it domestic hopefully by beating Swansea this there this weekend.
4. One of the three unbeaten teams in the league may lose as Watford face Manchester City:
Presently in the English Premier League, there are only three teams that are unbeaten, Watford, Manchester City and Manchester United. With City doing Battle with Watford, it is obvious that one of them will be losing the unbeating tag, except they settle for a draw, though we don’t see this happening.
5. Will Hodgson start on a winning note?
After losing the first four games of the season, new manager Roy Hodgson will hope to begin his career with the Eagles on a high by winning against Southampton when they meet on Saturday, September 16.
