She added that, she can’t wait until both of them graduate from university.
According to her post, Dr Edu also thanked Governor Ben Ayade and his wife for their kindness towards the upkeep of both mother and child.
Her post reads: “Do you remember Esther and her previously malnourished baby? The good news is that they are doing great! We started from the bottom and now we are here (Glory to Jesus).
I can't wait to see that day when they will both graduate from the university! (I already Know myself...I will spend it crying from morning till night tears of joy from river bank). It has been an uphill task and a tall order to sustain this act of love (I never expected it), but by God's grace we are making progress.
It's not being easy to monitor, feed, send to school and back, mentor and care for a teenager with no parent but just a small beautiful baby. Sometimes you get so frustrated and angry because my dear Esther will simply not listen. It’s being a beautiful experience, we have raised voices, gone mute, kept mini malice, cried together, shared laughter and weathered storms as a family.
One thing is sure....we must see the end...no going back Esther! Really, I don't blame her when she feels like killing her baby who she sees as a ‘baggage’ an unnecessary baggage one she feels she doesn't need. We just have to keep encouraging her and supporting her to see the baby as a blessing not a baggage!
