Woman reveals how a love scammer pretending to be from a Nigerian royal family and resident in the UK tried to scam her

A Twitter user has narrated her experience with a scheming love scammer so other women can learn.

The Twitter user told how the guy reached out to her on Twitter, asked for a follow back, and then slid into her DMs. From there, he began professing love to her.

He claimed he was from a wealthy Nigerian royal family but lived in the UK and worked with a bank there. He always pretended he was travelling from one country to the other and would video call her often from work.

Later, he contacted her, informed her of a project he had at hand and asked her to take a loan for him.

With time, this Twitter user, a lawyer, got suspicious and began investigating. She later discovered he has been in Nigeria all along and isn't who he claims he is.

From her story, it is easy to see that this guy is patient and takes months to win the trust of his victims, professes love to them, makes them love him back, then he swoops in.

The lady has now shared her story to expose the love scammer's mode of operation and warn other women.

Read her story below.
