APGA tackles Bianca, says Ojukwu’s widow lost Senate ticket after getting support

The National Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Dr. Victor Ike Oye says Mrs. Bianca Ojukwu has not been fair to him or the party in spite of all the support and privileges she enjoyed.

Oye told newsmen in Awka that he deserved an apology for the misplaced and unwarranted attacks on him by the wife of the late Biafra warlord, Dim Chukwuemeka Ojukwu. He said though Bianca joined the Anambra South Senatorial contest for APGA ticket a bit late, she got a lot of assistance from the party to enable her clinch the nomination, and wondered why she lost.
Oye said he did not offend Bianca in any way and expressed surprise at Bianca’s invective on him and the party. He said rather than castigate the national chairman and the party, Bianca should have been explaining her loss after receiving so much logistics to enable her win.
Oye said Bianca’s media swipe on APGA did not befit her status as the mother of the party, but smacked more of anti-party activity.
“Bianca is my personal friend and there is no way I could have done any wrong against her.
“I must tell you that I was surprised when she started attacking me in the media. I think that was a very serious mistake on her part, because she is fighting the wrong person.
“I did not do Bianca anything. People were sent to conduct the primary election and they returned result to me and that was all I cared for.
“APGA gave her support, I wouldn’t want to announce it openly, but we gave her all the support she needed to win but she did not win.
“That is why I said she should tell why she lost, I will even question her later to explain to me why she lost after all the support we gave her.
“She calls herself Mother General of APGA, but as a mother she should not be castigating the party like that.
“Her action is anti-party, but we don’t want to go into all that, because I know that very soon she will know the truth as truth is immutable,” he said.
Oye said the report available to the party showed that primary election for Anambra South Senatorial District ticket which Bianca participated in held and ended well with a clear winner announced to the public.
The chairman, who recalled the party’s insistence on fair and open primary elections, said Bianca could have been awarded the ticket if she had indicated interest much earlier. Oye said it was wrong for Bianca to blackmail him or APGA because of her marital status, adding that such emotions and sentiments were not accommodated by the constitution of the party or any other in the country.
“The report I got is that it went well and that a winner emerged.
“The report said she was there, she participated and the votes were counted and result declared, including her own and the man won.
“They said we gave Senator Victor Umeh ticket unopposed yes, because he indicated interest early enough and he deserved it too. If Bianca had shown interest much earlier, I would have announced it that nobody else would be tolerated.
“But she joined the fray after Ukachukwu and Ifeanyi had declared and were already running.
“That she is a widow does not confer on her a special status; it is not in APGA constitution that once you are a widow we give you ticket?
“I don’t think it is in the constitution of any party in Nigeria that once you are a widow you get automatic ticket.
“Remember we said that it was going to be contested openly, and it was contested.
“I hold her in high esteem, I respect her as the wife of Ojukwu.
“But she has been castigating me in the media, she owes me an apology, a serious apology, because I have done nothing against her,” he said.
Bianca has been leading campaign for Oye’s resignation as chairman of APGA since the conclusion of the party’s primary where she lost nomination to run for Senate.

Excitement As Famous Bollywood Actress Priyanka Chopra And Singer Jonas Set For India’s ‘Wedding Of The Year’

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, 36, and American singer Nick Jonas, 26, are due to wed at the city’s opulent Umaid Bhawan Palace hotel, in the western desert state of Rajasthan, on Saturday. They have been joined in India by their families, including Jonas’s brother Joe Jonas and his fiancee, British actress and “Game of Thrones” star Sophie Turner.

Indian media is abuzz with details and speculation about the big day, as Bollywood buffs count down to the wedding of the year. “She’s one of the best actresses in India and she’s beautiful. All of India is excited for her wedding,” said one fan, Prakash Pujari, outside a cinema in Mumbai, the home of Bollywood.
Chopra, who won the Miss World pageant in 2000, is one of Bollywood’s most identifiable stars and one of the few to have achieved success in the West. She starred in the ABC thriller series “Quantico” and has released songs with US chart-toppers including Pitbull and The Chainsmokers. Jonas first found success as a child, as the frontman of The Jonas Brothers with his two siblings. The brothers hailed from a deeply devout Christian family and presented a wholesome image, including wearing purity rings to promote chastity. In more recent years, Jonas remodelled himself with a more mature and edgy image, and has also turned to acting. The couple got engaged in August, sharing photos on social media showing them performing a prayer ritual in traditional Indian garb.

Tosyn Bucknor’s Service Of Songs: Husband, Aurélien Boyer Makes First Public Appearance After Her Death

Tosyn Bucknor ‘s widower, Aurélien Boyer has made his first public appearance since her passing last week. The grief-stricken French-born Boyer has been away from the public in the days following his wife’s death. It was he who returned from work and discovered that she had died alone in their Victoria Island home.

At the ongoing service of songs in her honour, Boyer is seen with Tosyn’s immediate family looking on and wiping his face at intervals.
The two got married in 2015 in a traditional Yoruba wedding in Lagos and followed it up with a private ceremony in Paris, France.
Days after her passing, he wrote that he felt as though a part of him and gone with her.
“That night, I felt I had gone. With you.
Next day, I could not stand all of them there. For you.
And then, I realized it was all love. Like you.
From then, they say I’ve been strong. It is true.
Every day, I stand together with all of us. To go through.
Last night, I realized how much. I miss you.”

Why I’m supporting Buhari – Obasanjo’s son

Olujonwo, son of former President Olusegun Obasanjo has explained why he is supporting President Muhammadu Buhari for a second term in office.

Olujonwo said his decision to support the President has not created any rift between him and his father, saying in supporting the President, he was only looking at the future of Nigerian youths.
The younger Obasanjo, who spoke at a media interactive session organised by the APC Press Corps, said despite supporting different Presidential candidates, the Obasanjo family remained one united and loving family. He said: “When we get to certain point in our lives, you are responsible for the decisions you take. With all due respect, my father is my father and will remain my father despite our political differences. At the end of the day, this election will end. Does that stop him being my father? Are you saying we cannot sit down and have dinner together and discuss issues?
“As a nation, we need to progress mentally and quit looking at politics as a do or die or as something that separates us. Politics is meant to unite us. We can disagree to agree; we can have genuine argument. You see things from my point of view, I see things from your point of view and we see how we can work together.
“That is the type of politics we are trying to promote and the message we are trying to send across. We are looking to promote certain values in politics. That is why we are in politics. It is very important that we rise above religion, ethnicity and primordial sentiments for the interest of this nation as a whole.
“Politics is not a battle, it is not war. We should stop looking at it from the stand point of who is superior. I have an ideology and an opinion, my father has his and we are not in conflict, we are still a family, a loving family with my dad.”
On whether his father has tried to influence his decision since announcing his decision to support President Buhari, he said: “I am as an individual and as an adult. I am here as someone who believe in this Government. This Government is diversifying the economy from an oil based economy and has made agriculture fashionable.
“Today, people talk about farming and no longer look at it in a degrading manner. People now look at the value chain when you talk about farming. For me, it is all about the impact that this government has made. As a nation, we must look beyond oil and think outside the box by looking at other areas which is what this Government has come to do.
“Nigeria is a nation blessed in several ways and not just oil and this government is promoting youth involvement in all sectors. As a young man, I am looking at future and I believe in this Government and I am supporting Mr. President. So, I cannot speak for my father.
“Everybody’s parent wanted them to be one thing or the other, probably different from what they are today. But at certain stage in our lives, we choose our part. That does not amount to disrespecting your parents.”
On why he is supporting the President, he said “We believe that by promoting the ideology of Mr. President, we are also promoting his achievement. We will be putting the fact forward and allow the electorates decide what is best for them.
“A lot has been going on in the social media. But at the end of the day, it is the grass root that matters. One of the things the President faced when he came into office was the security challenges in this country. Several local governments were under Boko Haram.

“We will always have security challenges, but it is important that we have a leader who is sincere, trustworthy and make sure that our resources are applied towards fighting for this nation. You can see that from the successes we have recorded, Me President has done a tremendous Job within a short time.”

Nigerian Lady Sends Out Open Call, Inviting Twitter Users For Some Snake Meat Delicacy

A Nigerian lady simply identified as Mummy Yo, has shared a snake delicacy and thrown out an open invitation to whoever cares to join her. The Owerri based lady claims the dish is very tasty, saying that it is sweeter than chicken meat, however one has to be mindful of the bones.

When trolled by a follower of using the same mouth to kiss an unsuspecting man, she said “what am I doing with a man that can’t eat and enjoy snake meat? In fact, he should be able to hunt for it in the bush when I’m craving.”
In some eastern states and some other parts of Nigeria, snake meat is a delicacy enjoyed by the old and young while in some parts like Okija in Anambra, particular species such as the python are revered deities and killing them is an abomination which could sometimes lead to heavy financial fines and in extreme cases,  banishment.
‘Yum Yum. Who wants to join me?

IT IS NOT LOVE IF THEY REQUEST FOR NUDES by Counselor Adofoli

You are supposed to be romantic towards the one you are married to and not the one you are studying for marriage. Sex has no place in dating or courtship. Sex was created for marriage and for the married. Somethings are not for everyone of which sex is one. You are not supposed to be naked with someone you are not married to.

That is why you are embarrassed or ashamed when you have sex with someone you are not married to, even when no one has said you did the wrong thing. In the first marriage which is the syllabus or God's map for all marriages, God instituted marriage and demonstrated how the business of marriage should be done.

Adam and Eve only knew themselves after marriage. Adam and Eve never had trust issues or insecurities. Adam and Eve became one in everything, even when they sinned against God, the two still lived together.

Adam trusted his wife to the extent that he didn’t question where she got the forbidden fruit from. Their marriage had such strong trust for each other because they didn’t defile themselves sexually. The two didn't have sex before they got married.

If you are dating or studying someone for marriage who is either far away or nearby, and they request for your naked picture, such a person wants to defile you before marriage. Such a person wants to corrupt you before marriage. He or she has no business seeing your naked body for they have no access to that. It is only marriage which gives them full right and access to your body.

The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 7:4 (NLT) “The wife gives authority over her body to her husband, and the husband gives authority over his body to his wife“. The Bible didn't refer to boyfriends and girlfriends.

If he or she is asking you for phone sex, which is the norm in a lot of the distant relationships these days, where people want you to close your eyes and imagine they are naked with you and also ask you to touch yourself in a way that is not right and against God, such a person is defiling you.

Don't fall prey to the lie that you are not romantic. You are not supposed to touch your body, if that is the case, sex won't be for the married.

This is one reason why he won’t marry you. Why should he marry a defiled body? Anytime they ask you for naked pictures, videos, remember they want to defile you. A man who wants you as a wife doesn't want you to be exposed. They want you kept, clothed and covered for themselves and not the public or someone else’s server.

We also need to know that whatever you send over the internet passes through someone before it gets to its destination. A transporter you don’t know. One day anything can happen to such images or videos where you have no control. There are things that can be transported but it should not be your naked pictures and video.

What happens when you don’t get married to them, but you got married to someone else, and later in the future these naked pictures get into the public domain? Will your marriage survive that?

Again, if they are asking for naked pictures, video and phone sex with you, it means they have being doing that with others or did that with others in the past. The question is, why didn't they marry those people in the past? What makes your story different?

If they have to leave or end the relationship because you can't fulfil their demands, you should be happy for that because you are doing the right thing. And it also means they were the wrong partner, but not because you are the problem.

In conclusion, "If you know what is right to do but you do not do it, you sin" - James 4:17 (NLV).

Please share with your friends, someone out there needs this.

Peter Okoye’s Wife Lola Omotayo Reveals How She Handles Negativity After Brother-In-Laws’ Shade

Lola Omotayo who few days ago ago was allegedly shaded by her brother-in-laws Jude and Paul Okoye, has revealed how she handles negativity.

She wrote;
‘People send me DM’s asking me how I remain sane and composed when so much negativity is thrown my way and my answer to you is simple: Anger only hurts you! What people think of you is none of your business, you just need to live your truth! When your sense of satisfaction and self worth is derived from the opinions of strangers then truly you are not in control of your happiness.
This constant need of validation from randoms is so unhealthy. We are always told to stay away from negative vibes or negative people but then how will you grow your Love and Compassion if there is no one to upset you, hate you, hurt you or rub you the wrong way? Only YOU are responsible for your pyschic hygiene, only you can clear and fill your energy with love and goodness everyday, no one can do it for you and you can only do so through life experiences good and bad.
Aim to be kind to your enemies and haters. Your acts of kindness are never wasted because ultimately, God sees your heart and that is really what matters at the end of the day. Wishing you a blessed week my Insta-fam!”

Britain Set To Return Looted Benin Bronzes To Nigeria After Over 100 Years

Some of the bronzes looted from the Benin Empire by British Soldiers over 100 years will be returned to Nigeria, but with certain terms and conditions, CNN is reporting.

According to CNN, the Benin Dialogue Group (BDG), which comprises of representatives of several European museums, the Royal Court of Benin, Edo State Government, and Nigeria’s National Commission for Museums and Monuments, struck a deal in October to have “some of the most iconic pieces” return to Nigeria for an exhibition at the new Benin Royal Museum in Edo State within three years.
The return of the artefacts is contingent on the completion of the Royal Museum of Benin, whose designs, according to spokesperson to Governor Godwin Obaseki, Crusoe Osagie, are being finalised.
“We are grateful these steps are being taken but we hope they are only the first steps. If you have stolen property, you have to give it back,” Osagie said.
Osagie also called for more pressure on European governments to return looted artefacts from the colonial era.
A spokesperson for the British Museum, according to CNN, said:
“The key agenda item (at the October meeting) was how partners can work together to establish a museum in Benin City with a rotation of Benin works of art from a consortium of European museums.
The museums in attendance have all agreed to lend artefacts to the Benin Royal Museum on a rotating basis, to provide advice as requested on building and exhibition design, and to cooperate with the Nigerian partners in developing training, funding, and a legal framework for the display in a new planned museum.

Shaydee: How Wizkid rescued me when I was homeless

Former EME signed artiste, Shadrach Adeboye Folarin, better known as Shaydee, has revealed that the strong bond between him and Wizkid is as a result of sharing a room with the Star Boy for more than a year. In a chat, Shaydee explained to Showtime how Wizkid offered to share a room with him at the label’s apartment when there was no room left for him to occupy after signing on to the Banky W owned record label.

“When I got signed there was no space in the house. There was a six bedroom flat and every room was full. So Wizkid invited me to come and stay in his room. Wizkid and I literally stayed in one room for over a year. We grew a bond just like that”, he said.
Shaydee who recently released a new song explained why he refused signing on to Wizkid’s Starboy record label. “That I can’t really talk about; Starboy is family any day. We don’t have to be on any signed arrangements to show that. But obviously because of his busy schedule we have not been able to do a lot of things we planned to do. We actually planned to drop an album together. He’s my brother; whenever he comes around we make music”, he said.
Speaking further, he stressed that contrary to public opinion, he was the only artiste who left EME records without acrimony after his contract with the label expired. “I think I was the only one that left without any story. I think people were just looking for drama and they couldn’t find any with me. I know how media works and I like my reputation to be good without blemish. I don’t have time for all that lies. We’re all trying to make money, so everyone is cool”, he said.

Being Duped Was My Worst Experience- Rapper Yung6ix Opens Up

Rapper, Yung6ix revealed in an Instagram post that he recently lost a lot of money on his bitcoin investment and that he was on the verge of depression. Considering the recent awareness about depression in the country, some concerned fans asked the rapper’s close friends to check on him and encourage him.

However, in a chat with Sunday Scoop, Yung6ix insist that he is not depressed.
“It was a sad experience and I’m just trying to let go at the moment. It was the worst experience ever. However, I am not depressed. I made the money I lost and I can make it over and over again. The hustle doesn’t stop. If you give into challenges, you will fall. But if you brace up and face them, you will rise way higher than you were before,” he said.
Offering advice to people from his experience, the rapper said,
“My advice to people is this – don’t put your money in any crypto currency company that does not have an office or customer care service.” Reacting to the claim that he doesn’t make his money from music, the rapper asked,
“If music doesn’t pay my bills, what will pay it? God has been good to me. In the last 20 months, I have had three endorsement deals and four tours across six countries. I honestly cannot complain. The bitcoin was one of my best investments. I actually lost most of the money I got from the Patricia endorsement to it but it is a minor setback. God will not give you a challenge you cannot handle. I have been in worse situations and I overcame them.”
