Liverpool and Manchester City canceled each other out in their Premier League encounter at Anfield Stadium on Sunday. Both sides continued their unbeaten run in the EPL so far this season as the Citizens maintain the top spot while the Reds are third on the table behind Chelsea - but all on the same point. 

The match failed to live to its bidding as many had thought goals would rain in the game owing to the quality of attacks paraded by both sides. City had a chance to hand Pep Guardiola's men maximum victory towards the end of the game after Virgil Van Dijk fouled Leroy Sane. Man City will hope to return to winning ways when they host Burnley on Saturday, October 20, while Liverpool battle Huddersfield at the John Smith's Stadium on the same day.
