Suspect should be considered "an enemy combatant": White House

 

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders says the suspect in the New York terror attack, should be considered "an enemy combatant."

"We would consider him to be an enemy combatant, yes," she said.

Asked if he should be tried within the Justice system or be treated as an enemy combatant and possibly transferred to military custody, Sanders said, "I don't believe that determination has been made."

She added that his actions, "would certainly justify that."
