DON'T MARRY A MAN WHO CAN’T WASH Written by Counselor Adofoli
If any guy thinks one of the requirements for a woman is to wash her husband’s clothing, he should wait until you become his wife. If he wants to be sure whether you can wash or not, he should observe your dressing. If your clothes were not clean, I am not sure he would have approached you in the first place.
If he doubts you, he should pay you a visit at home. What is the essence of washing for a boyfriend in the name of "he says he will marry me" when it turns out he won't?
If he does not trust that you can wash and the only way to prove that is by washing his clothing, then he is a wrong guy for you. No man in his right sense will bid for what he does not trust.
If he can't wash his clothes, then the question is, who has been washing them for him before you came? Again, what about the exes who washed his clothes for him, where are they now? God has blessed both the man and woman with what it takes to wash their clothing. The only thing that will cause a guy to rely on a girlfriend for doing that is laziness.
You don't need a husband who is lazy. They are the only kind of human beings Solomon advices to go learn from the tiny animal called the Ant. "Lazy people should learn a lesson from the way ants live" - Proverbs 6:6 (GNT).
The bitter truth is, some guys are just too lazy, they can't wash their own clothes. Due to that they are able to wear one underwear for a week or more without washing it. These guys are unkempt. They don't shave and have various degrees of body odour. Some don't even bath once a day and because of that they abuse deodorant and body sprays.
I know many of such people will read this article and feel uncomfortable, few of them will be ashamed and start to work on themselves, others will insult, lie and become defensive. If you have such a guy as a boyfriend, advice yourself.
No matter the sacrifice or the amount of love you have for him, you can't change him. Let him change before you agree to marry him. The only way is to stop washing for him. Let him learn how to do that for himself.
Marriage is for the mature, responsible and independent. He is not ready for marriage if he is not mature enough to do his own laundry, or responsible for his dirt and can't do things on his own; he is not fit to be your husband.
There are those who made the mistake of marrying such men, they have taken the responsibility to do the laundry for them as their spouse. However one thing they are tired of doing is begging this adult to take his bath before bed, to change his underwear, shave and keep clean.
As a result such wives don't just get infections after sexual intercourse in their marriage, some catch cold. It is hard for these husbands to change because their wives accepted that from them during dating.
I am not advising wives to stop washing their husbands clothing, I am advising single ladies not to marry lazy men. I am advising the lazy single man to be responsible for his cleanliness. By so doing, he can help his wife when she is exhausted, sick or travels. A wise man will learn from this and won't think he knows it all, for life never stops teaching.

Real Madrid Sacks Julen Lopetegui After Embarrassing Loss To Barcelona

“Real Madrid’s board met today on 29 Oct 2018 and has agreed to end the contract linking coach Julen Lopetegui with the club. This decision has been taken to change the dynamic in which the first team finds itself, when all the objectives for the season are still achievable.

Outrage In Kenya As Gay CNN Anchor Richard Quest Speaks In Church
Bishop Allan and Reverend Kathy Kiuna of the Jubilee Christian Church (JCC), on the 28th of October hosted CNN journalist Richard Quest in their auditorium. The journalist is openly gay.
”We welcome @richardquest to fellowship with us this morning @JccKenya. May God minister to you as fellowship with us today. #ArmorOfGod #JCCParklands.” JCC shared on their official Twitter handle.
Mr Quest is in Kenya on assignment to cover Kenya Airways’ maiden direct flight to the United States. The non-stop journey from JKIA to New York, with 234 passengers on board, will last 13 hours.
The reactions online were mixed, with most wondering if the Kenyan church was now okay with gays attending their church. Kenyan religious leaders have for long steered clear of the gay debate, even as President Uhuru Kenyatta recently reiterated that it was not an issue of concern in this country and not worth talking about.

Woman Burns Houseboy With Iron For Drinking Her 7up
According to vanguardngr, the 35-year-old trader brought Obi from Imo State, 4 years ago, to live with her in her one-room apartment at 17 Mutairu Street, Pedro, Bariga.
Barely had he settled than Sarah allegedly started beating him. Sarah’s landlord and Obi’s teachers were said to have cautioned her against inflicting injuries on the boy whenever she beats him.
The beating came to a head last Friday, after teachers noticed bloodstains on his uniform. Upon enquiry, he disclosed that his aunty burnt him with hot pressing iron.
The Local Government Education Authority at Shomolu contacted Coordinator of the Child Protection Network, Mr. Toyin Okanlanwon, who subsequently reported the matter to the Police.

UDOM EMMANUEL: BRIDGING THE GAP IN THE CREATIVE INDUSTRY IN AKWA IBOM
The impact of such weighty revenue is the reason most governments are increasingly developing interest in the entertainment industry. It is worthy to note that the United States Government constructed a make-shift White House for Hollywood to shoot films that carry the image of America. Western and Asian Nations set aside as much as $100million as grants and soft loans every year to young and established entertainers for their productions and performances. While Universities and colleges, constantly provide grants to outstanding students to make films on core societal issues.
While we had glimpses of appreciation of 'government entertainers' with a few cash in brown envelops by previous governments, the government of Deacon Udom Gabriel Emmanuel has turned around the story of the entertainers in the State. Just like in every project the governor embarks upon, this is done with short and long-term plan for quick result and sustainability.
Mr. Udom Emmanuel instead of taking the path of brown envelop appreciation style has put up an all-inclusive method in furthering the fortune of the entertainment industry in Akwa Ibom State. Such benevolence of appointing entertainers into juicy positions has never happened before in the history of the state. Mr. Udom took this path to give the entertainer a sense of belonging and to consult them on topical issues affecting the state in their area of jurisdiction. This of course has immediate and long term implication on the growth of the entertainment industry in the overall sense.
Governor Emmanuel also identified that the development of the creative industry cannot start and end in the streets and with practitioners. In line with world class professional practices where artistes obtain lessons in formal settings to sharpen their professionalism, He took a bold step in constructing a befitting world class performance theatre and a Dance studio for the Department of Performing Arts in Akwa Ibom State University. The Governor believes the next generation in schools can take the creative industry to the next level through local content and style with global appeal.
To consolidate, promote and offer a ready platform for young entertainers, the government of Akwa Ibom State, has organized a world class Talent show tagged 'AKWA IBOM TALENT SHOWCASE and the crowning jewel of it all, the ‘NIGHT OF STARS’.
According to Ini Edo, Special Assistant to Governor Udom Emmanuel on Culture and Tourism, AKWA IBOM Talent Showcase is part of the State’s milestone in reviving the hope of young creatives in Akwa Ibom State for Nigeria’s entertainment industry". According to her, the intention of the project is to raise obscure, unheard, unknown young but determined talented performers from the suburbs, the streets, the academia to limelight and the global stage through a competitive platform featuring DANCE, MUSIC and DRAMA.
The project is currently enjoying global viewership through digital media; Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter; Radio and Television stations. This vision is reminiscence of the beginning of theatre in ancient greece in the slope of Acripolis where Government sponsored performances and dramatic competitions. The mere fact that Actors are called thespians emanated from the first actor Thespis who won the acting competition.
Without a shadow of doubt, the vision of Governor Udom Emmanuel to see to the diversification of the state’s economy from an oil dependent one, to other areas such as agriculture and tourism is seeing the light of day.

Activist Nnamdi Kanu Discloses Why He Skipped Bail
Kanu, who is facing trial for alleged treason, was granted bail in April 2017 by a federal high court sitting in Abuja. He, however, skipped bail after flouting all the conditions given to him by the court, including a ban on public speaking.
The IPOB leader subsequently went into hiding only to reappear in Israel about two weeks ago. Speaking during a broadcast on Radio Biafra, Kanu insisted that the solution to the Biafra agitation will be conducting a referendum.
“Their problem is Nnamdi Kanu and the solution to their problem is referendum. They gave me conditional bail to cage me and IPOB but I refused,” he was quoted as saying in a statement by Emma Powerful, IPOB spokesman.
“We are not going to vote because we’re too intelligent for that nonsense. I am not interested in the politics of Biafrans, all I want for my people is freedom.”
Kanu said the Igbo have been voting for years, adding that “absolutely nothing” has come out of it.
“It is either Biafra or we die trying to get Biafra,” he said.
IPOB was banned and proscribed during a military raid in Umuahia, Abia state, which came on the heel of a dialogue between Kanu and south-east leaders.
Kanu blamed the region’s leaders for the travails of IPOB.
“Anywhere or anytime Ohaneze Ndigbo gathers for anything in Biafra land, it should be disrupted. Being an IPOB is a very unique privilege.”

James Brown: Being feminine is not a crime; Bobrisky inspires me
Getting arrested a few months ago appears to be a blessing in disguise as the dancer shot into the limelight when he was paraded by the police on national television.
Soon after the video clip surfaced online, Brown became an Internet sensation because of the grammatical blunders he made.
According to the young dancer, he was at the venue because he was scheduled to perform at the party that day but unfortunately for him, he was arrested along with some other young men when he was just about to hit the stage to perform.
In a telephone conversation with The Punch, the 20-year-old dancer talked about how his meeting with Bobrisky inspired him and how he was arrested and accused wrongly.
“I was happy and inspired when I met Bobrisky. I was about to perform on stage at the birthday party when the police officials came to arrest some guys and girls. I didn’t even know my video would go viral like that. I had to talk back at the policemen because I was being accused wrongly and I had to defend myself.
“They accused me wrongly because I act feminine when I talk and being feminine is not a crime; I have always been like this since I was a child. I was about eight years old when I started dancing; I used to stay with my grandma and she was the only person that was supporting me at that time,” he said.

Lari Williams: I Am Managing My Eyes; I Can See Slightly Now
When Sunday Scoop caught up with him recently, Williams said he was still undergoing treatment but he could see slightly with his eyes now.
He said, “As you can see, I am managing my eyes and it is getting better. I still direct plays and manage to read but not as good as before. I still have a vision and I am undergoing treatment.”
He also revealed that he planned to celebrate his 50 years on stage in November, saying the celebration has started already. He stated, “I am celebrating my 50th anniversary on stage next month. But the boys in Nollywood said they wanted a jamboree a week before, which means it started last Friday.
“They will introduce Lari Williams as a musician; most people don’t know this about me. I am also unveiling a 10-track album. I came home on the invitation of the Nigerian government for FESTAC ‘77 and I have not left since then. However, I have travelled out of the country and come back.”
