Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State has urged all party members seeking political office on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the state not to run to other parties after party primaries.
He urged them “to fall in line” after the party’s primaries have been conducted to ensure smooth preparation for the 2019 general elections.
The Governor said this at a meeting with the party faithful held at the APC secretariat in Abeokuta at the weekend.
Amosum called for understanding and cooperation among all aspirants jostling for political posts.
He said the outcome of the primaries should be accepted by all the aspirants by cooperating with the winners.
He added, “There must be no rancour after the primaries. After the exercise, the campaign starts.
“I want to assure you that we shall definitely have something to use to campaign.”
