Biafra: Nnamdi Kanu Reveals Why IPOB Must Boycott Nigeria’s Election

The leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, says members of his group must boycott the forthcoming elections in Nigeria because that is the “smartest way to cripple evil dictators”.

Citing Ian Smith of Zimbabwe, De Klerk of South Africa and Maduro of Venezuela, Kanu said when people participate in “sham elections” they bestow legitimacy on such election.

His words: “An election boycott is the smartest way to cripple evil dictators and their sham elections.

“Ask Ian Smith of Zimbabwe, De Klerk of South Africa and now – Maduro of Venezuela.

“When you participate in sham elections, you bestow legitimacy on such election. You become complicit,” the IPOB leader added.

I used to be the 'Order anything I want''Kinda person but living abroad changed my thinking...The first time i watched a couple sitting near me and my hubby in a very expensive Restaurant,I noticed they were a new couple and she had only asked for a glass of wine and took a long time ordering,when her order came,it was not much but when they asked for the Bill,she asked to pay for hers and i was shocked and kept looking at the guy to see if he would say No,he didn't and they both paid and left kissing...

I saw it happen lots of times and i Investigated it and found out that No Lady will go out with you without having her own money or card to pay for what she wants,so they buy what they can afford and stick to their wallet size.....

Someone i know who just relocated told me he took a German babe out on a date and he avoided the expensive stuff but she ordered for it,he said he could not concentrate because he didn't have enough money to cover her order but lo and behold she asked to pay for her Bill and he pretended to be upset about it...After that day,she refused to go on another date with him and he wanted me to tell him what he had done wrong...I told him!!!!

If you have your own money,buy what you want and pay for it,no matter what he says...If you are broke and Jobless then I guess it would be on point to ask him what his budget for the Dinner is,no time to shame oh.........These are my view.

A lot of people agree that the catchiest moment of the night was when H.R.H (Rev,Dr) Prince AZK Adekoya, a Nigerian American Legal expert, consultant and a people's advocate stood up to challenge the Atiku spokesperson, Segun Sowunmi.

The Prince queried Sowunmi at the Townhall meeting, demanded for a commitment and got one. That moment has become known all over as that "that powerful question moment" that got the streets buzzing. He asked if the team would take a message back to Atiku and Obi. He also demanded and got a commitment from the team that the administration would frequently report back to, and interact with the Diaspora residents on a regular basis.

The success of Nigeria is Paramount to all Diasporans".

According to the Daily Mail, French Ligue 1 club, Paris Saint-Germain has shown interest in signing Chelsea playmaker, Willian.

EFCC warns former employees parading as current workers of the commission to extort the pubic

EFCC has reacted to the activities of some former staff of the commission who are still parading themselves as being in the employ of the Commission, and using this means to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.

According to EFCC, 'preliminary investigation shows that some of the fraudsters brandish seemingly authentic Identity Cards as staff of the Commission to prey on their prospective victims. They make monetary demands and in return give promises to help stall ongoing corruption investigation, or promise to help secure employment for some people or their loved ones in the Commission'.
 

Investigation also revealed that some Identity Cards being paraded by the hoodlums are those of members of staff who have earlier reported them as lost or stolen at gunpoint and got Police Reports to be able to get replacements from the Human Resources Unit of the Commission. 

Besides, some extortionists also design and print fake Identity cards with which they carry out their blackmail and extortion activities. 

While measures are being put in place to curtail the activities of these fraudsters, members of the public are hereby advised to also desist from patronising anyone who drops the name of an EFCC officer with a promise to help resolve an ongoing fraud case, or for employment purposes.
